It is always a challenge to find a good bagel sandwich in Boston. Obviously, you can't find a New York bagel, but I found something just as delicious at Kupel's Bakery in Brookline. Kupel's is a kosher delicatessen located on Harvard Street. It is filled with pastries and bagels. Something unique about their menu is that every bagel sandwich is named after a stop on the B Line T. I made my own consisting of a whole wheat sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese, lox, and tomatoes. It was a lovely day to sit in their outside seating area and enjoy the people of Brookline walking by to and from work. Next time I go back I will surely be ordering a chocolate chip danish!
